Virtual Content Manager

Position Overview: Path and Purpose is seeking a creative and motivated Part-Time Virtual Content Manager to oversee our social media accounts and support our content strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for our mission, experience in managing social media, basic video editing skills and search engine optimization (SEO) experience. This role involves developing and implementing a content calendar, managing our YouTube channel, and supporting our two podcasts: The Path and Purpose Podcast and The Being-Centered Leader Podcast.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

• Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content aligned with our brand and mission.
• Monitor and respond to audience interactions and comments.
• Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement.

Content Calendar Development:

• Collaborate with the founder to develop and implement a content calendar based on our business strategy and vision.
• Plan and schedule content in advance to ensure consistent and timely posts.

Video Editing:

• Edit and produce basic videos for social media and YouTube.
• Ensure video content is aligned with our brand and resonates with our audience.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

• Develop and execute strategies to promote organic traffic through search engines

YouTube Channel Development:

• Develop and execute strategies to grow our YouTube channel.
• Schedule and curate video content for our YouTube channel.
• Develop video titles and descriptions that are optimized for search.

Podcast Support:

• Assist in the production and promotion of The Path and Purpose Podcast and The Being-Centered Leader Podcast.
• Develop strategies to increase podcast listenership and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing social media accounts (please provide samples of work or accounts managed).
• Basic video editing skills (please provide samples of video work).
• Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for Path and Purpose’s mission and vision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with content calendar tools.
• Experience in podcast production and promotion.

Hours and Compensation:

• Part-time position with flexible hours.
• Remote work.
• Compensation based on experience and qualifications ($20-30/hr.)
