Responsibilities
- Lead with expertise in Data Management, Reporting, Network, Systems Infrastructure.
- Oversees technological infrastructure, critical information, and data systems.
- Leads the development and execution of the IT strategic plan and roadmap in support of the enterprise strategy.
- Develops and implements the IT strategies, policies, procedures, and best practices, and ensuring all Information Technology methodology and processes (Project Management, SDLC and Change Management) are followed and database requirements are documented (following the requirement specification standards).
- Effectively manages IT vendor relationships to foster strong partnerships, strategic alignment, and value. Maximizes the effectiveness of existing systems by assessing, evaluating, and making recommendations as applicable while being financially prudent.
- Collaborates with business leaders to identify technological needs and develop solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Leads efforts to identify new technologies and opportunities for process & system improvements.
- Develops the IT expense and capital budgets that support both long-term and short-term objectives.
- Oversees the management of company’s facilities and leasing partners.
- Enables the preparation, maintenance, and implementation of application, data, data security, infrastructure and integration policies and procedures.
- Ensures robust IT Disaster Recovery documentation, capabilities, and testing.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory requirements including HIPAA, PHI, and audit requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience required.
- Minimum of (15) years of relevant experience in implementing and architecting complex data management and BI capabilities such as data warehouse, reporting and data engineering with 5 years technology management experience in a large complex IT organization.
- Come from Health plan industry background.
- Proven ability to understand the business strategy and goals and their potential implications in terms of IT solutions required to support them.
- Demonstrated enablement of the design, development, and implementation of complex solutions by understanding the overall data ecosystem for a healthcare organization.
