VP of Marketing

Giga Energy manufactures and operates energy infrastructure. We are an international company with headquarters in Houston & Shanghai offering comprehensive product lines including electrical equipment, modular data centers, and power generation assets. In addition to our product lines, Giga operates off-grid and on-grid data centers in North and South America.

As the VP of Marketing at Giga Energy, you'll be our first-ever marketing hire and build our marketing team from the ground up. In this role, you'll work closely with our team to set marketing priorities and develop strategies, while also executing these plans both as an individual contributor and a team leader. You must be a clear thinker and self-starter who has experience leading marketing teams, isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, and has a proven track record of both driving pipeline and supporting a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Talk to customers. Regularly communicate with customers to understand what they need and want.
• Align on strategy. Collaborate with company leadership to decide how to allocate our limited time and money towards high ROI marketing efforts.
• Run campaigns. Design and execute marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement. Manage budgets, timelines, and performance metrics.
• Work with others. Collaborate with sales, BD, and product teams to coordinate marketing efforts, achieve common objectives, and ensure cohesive messaging
• Create content. Create high-quality written and visual content for our audiences across channels.
• Build our brand. Maintain a consistent visual & verbal brand identity across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
• Build a team. Build and lead a top-notch marketing team that pushes for excellence, rewards great work, and helps team members grow their abilities.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field, and/or evidence of exceptional experience
• 4+ years of experience in marketing role
• 1+ years of experience leading marketing team
• Experience building marketing materials for technical product
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms
• Exceptionally strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
