There are currently two Workday Analyst role openings, one being Integrations, and the other being Security. This is a fully remote role, although it does require residency in Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin.


Customer Service


  • Act as a liaison between customers, IT teams, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders at various levels.
  • Lead and participate in meetings with stakeholders.
  • Serve as an expert technical resource to address and resolve business problems.
  • Inform and educate functional teams on new processes or enhancements, seeking input on future improvements.
  • Pursue continuing education through seminars, conferences, webinars, and networking.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and measurement.


Support and Maintenance


  • Lead or participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle; identify business needs, design, build, implement, document, and train on business solutions based on current and future technologies.
  • Ensure optimal functioning of IT application systems and compliance with business needs, strategies, policies, and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot functional, performance, connectivity, integration, security, or utilization issues using industry-standard and innovative methodologies.
  • Understand Workday-specific functions, configurations, reporting, integrations, and security.
  • Document incidents, requests, projects, knowledge, and change control IT and organizational procedures per organizational standards.
  • Write and control essential project documents such as requirements, project charters, functional specifications, designs, and test plans.
  • Advise management on potential problems, current systems status, and requirements for improvements.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and standards to meet regulatory requirements and legal standards.
  • Provide on-call support as required.


Required Education, Experience, and Skills:


  • Bachelor’s Degree with three years of experience in IT or a relevant business area, or a minimum of seven years of relevant IT experience.
  • One or more Workday certifications such as HCM, FIN, SCM, security, or integrations.
  • Experience implementing or supporting Workday.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.


Preferred Skills:


  • Advanced knowledge and experience supporting Workday FIN and SCM.
  • Experience or certification in project management, Agile, Scrum, and ITIL.
  • Healthcare technology experience, including HL7 and Epic knowledge, is helpful but not required.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, scripting, XML, SQL, JavaScript, and FTP.
