The reaction flywheel is the executing component of the satellite attitude control system, which uses the torque motor to accelerate or decelerate the flywheel to produce the reaction torque acting on the satellite body, and then controls the attitude of the satellite. The principle of flywheel control is to use the principle of momentum conservation.#space #universe #astronomy

Our Solar System, our Star (aka the Sun or Sol) has a measurement diameter of 12 Billion Miles! Thus, this new finding says our solar System has an extra 12 to 14 Billion Miles of extra diameter! And Voyager Space Craft just entered the inner gap , and not interstellar space!! 🛰📡☀️ Note: Space is measurements are done in ancient times in Noah’s Cubic Foot and in Modern days in British Imperial Foot. But the current Systems International French Metric measurement of Metric Foot over (unit measurement is small) exaggerates measurements! 1 Cubic Foot is 14 inches, 3 cubics foots are a Rod, and 1 furlong is 1,000 Rods (Bible measurement)! Known as Noah Man’s Measurement, who built the Ark of Noah, before the Great Flood! 1 Imperil Foot is 12 inches, 3 foots are a yard, and one mile is 5,280 feet or 1,760 yards!
Webb Reveals Stunning Complexity in Fomalhaut's Asteroid Belt! On this day in 2023, Webb took an unprecedented look at the young star Fomalhaut, revealing a dusty debris disk unlike anything in our solar system! 3 nested belts, stretching 14 BILLION miles, dwarf our Kuiper Belt. Webb's infrared eye unveiled previously UNSEEN inner belts. These belts hint at the presence of HIDDEN PLANETS! 🪐 This discovery is a game-changer for understanding how solar systems form. Webb is rewriting the story, and we can't wait to see what's next! Read more - https://lnkd.in/gc9h8XuH #JamesWebb #Space #Astronomy #Fomalhaut #Exoplanets #OTD

Did You Know? 🌌✨ A day on Venus is longer than a year on Venus! Venus rotates on its axis very slowly, taking about 243 Earth days to complete one rotation, whereas it takes about 225 Earth days to orbit the Sun. So, a single day on Venus is longer than its entire year! Feel free to share and engage with this fun space fact! #DidYouKnow #SpaceFacts #Astronomy #FunFact #LinkedInLearning

A new study suggests that we may be relatively alone in the universe. The analysis is based on the premise that, given a group of similar Earth-like planets, life should arise on nearly all of them or none of them given the lack of differences that would cause life to arize on some of them. That would mean that intelligent, technological life should also either be very common or very rare. The lack of evidence so far, from decades of SETI projects, to detect signals from other civilizations then led scientists to conclude that such life may therefore be rare, for any number of reasons. https://lnkd.in/eAWnCWXb #SETI #Astronomy #DrakeEquation #Space
