A beautiful day for dribbling! Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego and Sparky the Sun Devil helped us tip-off the Men’s Final Four Dribble, presented by Buick on Sunday.
The event saw 3,000 kids dribble a .7 mile course through Downtown Phoenix and right into the Phoenix Convention Center, where they got to enjoy the Final Four Fan Fest, presented by Capital One.

Yes, there is a huge amount of 21-35-year-olds or what CBS called the "Tik-Tok" generation(s) that want to partake in sporting events, Formula 1, Adele concerts, and U2 at the sphere. This was the big report that came out on CBS Sunday Morning yesterday. A sure sign that mainstream media is completely out of touch and does not even realize that there are 3 billion video gamers out there that they just ignore or are oblivious to. By the way, I would include all of the gambling industry in that "mainstream media" mentality. But go right ahead Vegas! Bring ALL the sporting events you can to your doors. I just think you are missing a bigger opportunity to incorporate actual GAMES people want to play. I am sure you will sell plenty of hotel rooms, food, and beverages but at the end of the day, Vegas' bread and butter... the gambling aspect will and is ignored when it doesn't have to be. The impact of incremental revenue cannot be understated in the event space.
Usage of inventory features like Seat level pricing (SLP) and platinum have been integral to this incremental revenue strategy. Especially in non-traditional events like international tournaments, celebrity matches, concerts, etc.
Newer features like SLP and platinum are an entirely new way to price inventory than they’re used to. It took some convincing internally with client partners and clients to initially adopt. Clients trusted their client partners and our product team to deliver.
The results speak for themselves 👏🏼
