🥇 After obliterating lap records and storming to pole position, Jorge Martín showcased his indomitable spirit, clinching victory in the sprint and securing a podium finish in Sunday’s grand prix. Despite battling persistent issues from pre-season testing, Martin's resilience and sheer speed were on full display, proving he's a force to be reckoned with in the 2024 MotoGP™ season. 🎙️ Jorge Martin Speaks Out: "It was a great weekend. We demonstrated the speed that we had. I am confident that when we have the bike at its 100%, we can be unbeatable. But at the moment, we have vibrations. I cannot use the rear brake and there are some points that are my strongest areas of riding which I cannot use." "Let’s wait and let the engineers work. I have done my part, now they need to do theirs." Despite the setbacks, Martin remains optimistic about overcoming these challenges and dominating in the upcoming rounds. His fighting spirit and determination are what sets him apart. #JorgeMartin #MotoGP #QatarGP #MotorcycleRacing #SpeedThrills #RacingLife #RacingPassion #PodiumFinish #OvercomingChallenges #JM89 #Martinator #MotoGP75 #469Motorsports

1️⃣7️⃣ Round 17: Azerbaijan 1️⃣7️⃣ The Tifosi are expecting to ride the high wave after securing a victory on their home turf two weeks ago in Italy. Charles Leclerc pulled all the stop to make the one-stop strategy work beautifully. This week, F1 will head east to Baku, Azerbaijan. The race is hosted in Baku City Circuit, a twisty track that progressively gets narrower, yet this is a place where cars can reach their top speed in the straights. It’s also worth noting that Oliver Bearman will replace the banned Kevin Magnussen in the Haas! So, what should we look out for this weekend? 👀 Ahead of the 2024 race, here’s a little reminder of what happened last season: 🥹 Pérez’s last victory (to date): Sergio Pérez won the sprint race on Saturday and took home the victory in the main race the following day. As of now, this race remained Pérez’s last victory. ⛔ K-Mag’s weekend to forget: Kevin Magnussen suffered a mechanical problem on Friday which left him out of position for Sunday. Despite an electric start, the Dane took damage on the first lap. 🦵 Hamilton got “kicked in the teeth”: Lewis Hamilton was running fifth when he pitted, and only for the Safety Car to appear shortly after Nyck de Vries retired, allowing the field to get a cheap pit stop. The Briton likened this to “getting kicked in the teeth”. What’s your prediction for the Azerbaijan GP? Let us know in the comments below! 👇 ** 🏎 Love seeing Formula One content on LinkedIn? Verstappen bounces back with dominant win at Japanese GP - https://lnkd.in/gg5AMB2C STEPHEN WADE Associated Press SUZUKA, Japan — Max Verstappen's record-breaking dominance in Formula 1 resumed Sunday with his victory in the Japanese Grand Prix, leading almost the entire race on a sunny day in central Japan. His abrupt breakdown two weeks ago in Melbourne, Australia, looks like a blip in his total command over F1. He was out on the fourth lap when the rear brakes caught fire.Nothing like that this time.Verstappen basically led from start to finish except briefly after a pit stop. He was followed across the finish line by Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez — 12.5 seconds behind — and Carlos Sainz of Ferrari. Sainz was 20 seconds off the pace. The three-time defending F1 champion is again this season's points leader and now has won 22 of the last 26 races dating from the start of the 2023 season. Only two other drivers have won in that span — Red Bull teammate Perez and Sainz, the winner in Australia two weeks ago. People are also reading… Responding to a question, Sainz suggested that Verstappen and Red Bull are so dominant that the season might already be over after just four of 24 races."I think they are definitely going to have an advantage in the first third of the season until we bring in one or two upgrades," Sainz said. "But by that time maybe it's a bit too late with the advantage they might have in the championship."Verstappen, of course, said the season would be competitive and suggested Red Bull might struggle in street races."It's still a very long season," he said. "I don't want to think about the rest of the season too much."A red flag just seconds into the tightly packed first lap when Alex Albon and Daniel Ricciardo clipped each other on the second turn and crashed out halted the race. That was basically the only real drama."The critical bit was the start to stay ahead and after that the car just got better and better," Verstappen said later. "It couldn't have been any better."Both Albon and Ricciardo walked away, apparently without serious injuries. The restart was delayed 30 minutes to get the cars off the track and clear debris.Verstappen, who now has 57 career wins, pushed his season points total to 77 and is 13 clear of Perez on 64. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc follows with 59 with Sainz on 55."It's nice to win, and it's nice to win here in Japan," said Verstappen, whose car is powered by a Honda engine. "It's always an important race for us and it's great to win here in front of Honda.""Melbourne felt like a bit of a hiccup," he added. "But what we did today is what w

#Monaco is over and Formula 1 now has its 4th race winner of the year as Charles Leclerc takes his first victory since the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prixin 2022 and now F1 is back in #NorthAmerica for the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA which means that once again it is time for my preview and predictions, can Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology bounce back and once again claim victory after losing last time out or will Charles Leclerc and Ferrari make it two wins in a row, also Mclaren will be looking to continue their fine form with both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, Carlos Sainz in the other Ferrari will be looking to bounce back after a couple of tricky races. Sergio Perez in the Red Bull will be looking for a better race after crashing out at the start of the Monaco GP. For Mercedes-AMG GmbH they are all alone as the 4th fastest team as Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are ahead of the cars behind but a long way off of the cars that are ahead of them such as Aston Martin who will be looking to get back in the points with Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll as they have been struggling now for a couple of races and they are coming under pressure from Yuki Tsunoda in the VCARB. The Canadian Grand Prix at #Montreal is a great circuit which has a lot of history and incidents often happen as the tight chicanes have walls close by.
