Great report and message from one of our coalition's members! Happy Earth Day week! One of my favorite days of the year is the opportunity to share our 2023 Global Sustainability Report with our employees, our clients, and our external partners, which is linked here: https://lnkd.in/gAMruQgc. The report details our Environmental. Social and Governance (ESG) performance during 2023 and provides tangible examples of our commitment to responsible forest and investment management. Being a leader in the ESG arena is imperative to RMS and our business, and it does and will continue to help define RMS as a company and how we continue as a premier creator of forest value for our investors. This year’s report theme is “A Walk in the Woods”. While metaphoric in nature, each of us can relate to how our time “spent in the woods” has shaped who we are and why forests hold a special place in our lives. I’m proud of the report and the company and people it represents. The report highlights our RMS Team, the work we are doing to effect positive change in our communities and within our professions, and how our employees represent RMS and who we are every day. We are privileged to be stewards of the forests we manage for some yet to be determined period of time; it is my hope that when we pass the management responsibility torch to the next generation, our stewardship actions will tilt the scales in a positive direction. The 2023 Global Sustainability Report can also be found on our website at https://lnkd.in/gAMruQgc. Please take a few minutes to read our 2023 report. This report is the most comprehensive we’ve put out to date; yet we acknowledge there are areas we need to continue to improve. The world is rapidly changing, and change does indeed bring opportunity. Forests can and do provide solutions to some of our most pressing nature bases challenges, including climate change and loss of biodiversity. We seek and welcome your feedback on what we did right and where we can increase our efforts to improve. Jimmy Bullock Sr. Vice President, Forest Sustainability Resource Management Service LLC
