#FIFAWorldCup | The Hudson County Latin American Chamber of Commerce (HCLACC), represented by its President Heidi Castrillon, participated in the important event “Soccer World Cup 2026 in Mid-Atlantic Region”, held at the headquarters of the Hogan Lovells law firm in Philadelphia, by the Mid-Atlantic - Eurasia Business Council (MAEBC/MARBC), trade organization chaired by Val Kogan. At the meeting, prominent speakers discussed the great economic and commercial impact that the participation of Philadelphia and New York/New Jersey as host cities of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ - Canada, Mexico and the United States will have, a fact that will benefit the hospitality industry and nearly all other sectors of business in the area. These cities will host no less than fourteen World Cup matches, including the final, scheduled for July 19, 2026 at MetLife Stadium, located in #EastRutherford, an inner ring suburb of #NewYorkCity. Since 1994, the Mid-Atlantic - Eurasia Business Council (MAEBC/MARBC) has worked to foster business relations between Eurasia/Russia and the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region. A major focus of MAEBC/MARBC's efforts in recent years has been the establishment of the #MidAtlantic region as a leading partner for Eurasian/Russian-American innovation technology and entrepreneurship cooperation. #Business #ChamberofCommerce #FWC2026 #Hospitality #NewJersey #NewYork #NYNJ26 #Philadelphia #Soccer #Sports #Technology #Tourism #WeAre26 #WeAreNYNJ

The theme of our CBS Networking Event will be centred around "The Role and Impact of Micro-Businesses to the UK Economy." Micro-businesses are collectively speaking - making a significant contribution to the UK economy and to society as a whole.Micro-businesses are companies of up to ten people are not only an important component of the economy but play a major role in the process of “leveling up” disadvantaged regions of the UK. These category of companies collectively and individually, benefit their communities. They employ local people, shop in local shops and tend to look close to home for suppliers. However, not enough is being done to support these Micro-businesses. That support should span from financial, as well assistance in marketing, leveraging latest social media technologies as well as technical expertise. Our Key Note Speakers, Rashesh Joshi, the co-founder & Managing Director of Alexander Rosse and Shukeel A Chohan, who is a Motivational and Public Speaker, Trainer, Coach as well as a Sales and Business Strategist will be covering the role of Micro Businesses to UK economy. In particular Rashesh will be covering how Micro Businesses can leverage growth through the vast financial and funding packages that are available in the financial markets. Shukeel on the other hand will be covering how small business owners can motivate themselves in a challenging and uncertain economic climate.

FIFA 2026: Toronto's Financial Footwork to Benefit from Global Event Toronto's role as a host city for the 2026 FIFA World Cup has sparked discussions on maximizing local benefits amidst rising costs. The city, alongside Vancouver, will spotlight Canada in the global event, sharing 10 opening-round games. However, Toronto faces a financial challenge as hosting expenses have surged to $380 million from an initial $300 million estimate. Despite limited direct financial benefits projected for the city, officials are strategizing to enhance economic and tourism gains. Mayor Olivia Chow and Councilor Josh Matlow are advocating for federal support, particularly for security costs, and seeking additional private sector contributions to ensure the city not only enjoys but also profits from this prestigious international sporting spectacle. #FIFA2026Toronto #economics #globalbenefits #torontotourism #SoccerInCanada #hostingchallenge #EconomicStrategy #MayorOliviaChow #CouncilorJoshMatlow #SportingSpectacle #supportfederalconservative #PrivateSectorParticipation #torontointernationalfilmfestival #veritasmedia
