It was a very cool experience judging The Stevie® Awards for the first time. I reviewed and scored 60 submissions in sales categories and I'm glad I made the time to do it. The individuals and teams that stood above the crowd, for me, really delivered in three key areas: 1️⃣ Innovation. Those submissions that earned 9s and 10s from me highlighted a truly innovative go-to-market approach. Some hit me like "well yeah, that's your job 🤷♂️". Top entries hit me like "Wow! Brilliant. That really changed the game." 2️⃣ A very hard market challenge. Those that I awarded top marks made clear what a difficult challenge they were up against. Fast-changing circumstances, complex and incomplete data, hard to reach buyers, powerful competitors and more. 3️⃣ Results. Some were truly eye-popping. Massive impact delivered, especially when compared to past performance and to market trends. I learned, I was inspired, and I did my part to shine a light on those that are doing some exceptional work. And as a bonus, if ever I'm writing submissions for awards – Stevies or anything else – I now know how to make ours stand out in really positive ways. Thanks Mario. M. Salesforce conducted its first-ever Football Fiesta over the weekend and being a boyhood football fan, I had to play. The picture has no trophy coz we finished 5th out of 16 teams. Last week, I reviewed 60+ applications from AE’s for The Elites awards. A few things stood out to me when trying to find the best of the best.  It wasn’t just about quota attainment. Sure, that’s a big part of it. But what set the best apart? ⭐ Generating their own pipeline - some of the best AEs were generating as much as 90% of their own pipeline. You can’t just rely on SDRs and Marketing to do it all. ⭐ Whilst the role is an ‘individual contributor’, the best AEs are team players. Helping new joiners, onboarding, taking on additional responsibility. ⭐ Creativity - willingness AND demonstration to cut through the noise to attract attention, move deals along and get buy-in. True grit. ⭐ Promoted from within. Some of the best nominees were those who started as an SDR (in some cases despite having sales experience in another industry) ⭐ Investing in their personal brand - whether that's to help peers in the sales community or be a thought leader for prospects and customers. A big thank you to Izzy Bishop and the team for getting me involved as a judge, truly honoured and cannot wait for the next round!

To say that I'm grateful to be a member of the development team at Ohanafy is an understatement: being with this group has been a game changer for my career. 🎉 Celebrating 5 Years at Salesforce! 🎉 Today marks a significant milestone—5 years in Salesforce! I’ve gone from SDR to BDR, AE, Senior AE, and now, Sales Manager. What I’ve learned along the way is that success isn’t just about hitting targets; it’s about the relationships we build and the teams that support us. There’s an Albanian proverb that resonates deeply with me: "Një dorë nuk bën tingull." (One hand does not clap.) None of this would have been possible without the incredible colleagues, mentors, and leaders who have worked alongside me.
