At Forward Ability Support we are always looking at how we can improve outcomes for those that we support including supporting research into SCI and the associated conditions.
Recently a member of our team Keith McNaughton met residents, staff and clinicians at Ferguson Lodge, run by Forward Ability Support It was a great opportunity to meet everyone, give an update on our current trials and studies, and to invite everyone to participate in exciting research. Thanks to Sharis Matevossian Doumit (Community Engagement Manager) and Sarah (Director of Home and Living Supports) for hosting the morning and particularly the residents for meeting with us.

Get behind Brenda Lin Voting details below
Survivor-led peer support groups for survivors of sexual assault. Held in NSW, Vic and online. Founded on Gadigal Land 🤍
Very exciting announcement!!: Many of you know our incredible cofounder Brenda Lin. Brenda cofounded TSH in 2021. Since then, she has worked full time volunteer hours supporting over 1000 survivors. She organises and runs MeetUps, she does most of the behind the scenes work that people never get to see and she sits with survivors daily. Brenda is also pursuing her PhD in youth justice. Brenda is an incredible person and the best cofounder I could ask for. She is so incredibly hard working, patient, compassionate and thoughtful. Please vote for Brenda as Westfield Local Hero. We will use whatever funding we receive to continue to do the work we do 🤍 (P.S. Love you Brenda!! - Anna) https://lnkd.in/gC4svFTZ

New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC), Veteran Housing Corp would ask three questions about your housing projects: 1. How much funding, federal tax credits, or government benefits or incentives from all government sources did the projects receive? 2. What is the affordability period for each project? 3. What guarantees exist that tenants will not be displaced after the "affordability period expires? Every local, state, and federal housing authority should adopt the State of Vermont's "permanent affordability" policy as a model for all future government funded or subsidized housing projects or developments, no exceptions! https://lnkd.in/eFEUC8c8
