1Q is the time when many annual awards🏆 are given out to recognize the hard work of the previous year. The Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, and the Asian Film Awards took place this week, honoring outstanding achievements in the movie industry. While some of the winning movies were widely popular, others may not have received as much attention. However, all the awarded movies must have proven excellence in respective areas, people who have missed them are keen to follow the winning list and explore 🧐 Most of us may not have the opportunity to be awarded an Oscar, but we do receive “awards” throughout our lives in various forms and scales: our parents gave us a treat🍭 for achieving a good score at school; the teacher displayed our creative painting on the classroom wall for classmates’ appreciation; your other half upload a nice photo of them taken by you on their social media... These forms of recognition signify that we have done a good job, even if they don’t come in the form of a tangible trophy 💯 Some people view awards as the ultimate goal and place great importance on winning. However, it is crucial to understand that receiving an award often depends on external factors, and there can only be one winner. Even if we don’t secure the top spot, being nominated is already an honor worth celebrating. Personally, I believe that the true value lies in the meaning behind the award. As long as we persist in doing the right thing, offering help to others, whether or not our efforts are seen immediately, they will ultimately shine like gold and cannot be hidden 🌟 Speaking of unseen efforts, why don’t we create our own “Oscars” to recognize those we feel are underrated? It could be as simple as buying someone a coffee, sending an emoji 👍, or writing a thank you note to show our appreciation and support for one another. How many “Oscars” have you given out this year so far? Let’s take a moment to recognize and uplift those around us who may not always receive the applause they deserve. #awards #oscars #appreciation #recognition #support #celebratetogether #BEASTbyBEA

President and CEO of Mark Enlow, Inc. and the Mark Enlow Family of Companies: CommittedU and the Mark Enlow Foundation
Family has a profound impact on our lives and careers. I’m inspired by stories where CEOs are making a difference by expanding services to support families and leaders like ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott emphasizing the best executives put their families first, demonstrating that prioritizing family leads to both professional success and personal fulfillment. Putting families first isn't just a principle—it's a commitment that resonates deeply within me and is one of the cornerstones behind the launch of my first book on the 4 F's: Faith, Family, Fitness, and Finances - the ultimate guide to building a compelling career and thriving life. Stay tuned for a series of empowering coaching and self-improvement sessions designed to ignite your potential and inspire success! #4Fs #FamilyFirst #MarkEnlow #BillMcDermott #WorkLifeBalance #Empowerment

🌟 Honoring a Legacy 🌟 This week we were honored with the visit of Mike Mansuetti, who’s 36 year career at Bosch started #righthereinCharleston. He started as a Co-Op in 1988 and held various leadership positions, prior to becoming the President of Robert Bosch LLC North America in 2012. As Mike is set to retire on October 1, 2024, we as Charleston Plant were happy to have a F2F chance to extend our heartfelt gratitude for his dedication, support and leadership in form of a small retirement drop-in, plant tour and joint dinner, during which he shared some personal stories and insights. I believe Mike Mansuetti‘s career offers several valuable lessons: 🌟 Visionary Leadership: Mike‘s ability to steer Bosch North America towards significant growth highlights the importance of having a clear vision and strategic direction. Under his guidance, third party sales increased by 55% from $10.6 billion in 2012 to $16.5 billion in 2023. 🌟Adaptability: Over his 36-year career, Mike navigated numerous industry changes and challenges. His adaptability and willingness to embrace new technologies and trends were key to his success 🌟Customer-Centric Approach: Mike‘s emphasis on customer satisfaction underscores the importance of understanding and meeting customer needs. This approach builds on long-term loyalty and trust, two valuable factors to drive sales. 🌟Industry Engagement: Mike‘s active involvement in industry associations demonstrates the value of networking and collaboration. Engaging with peers and staying informed about industry developments can provide valuable insights and opportunities. 🌟People at the Core: already early in his career he understood that it is often „more important who you know than what you know“. Fostering a high-performance culture based on respect, trust and collaboration, Mike ensured that his team was motivated, engaged and aligned with the company’s goal. Additionally, Mike has shared knowledge as a mentor to many whilst staying humble and relatable. 🙏 Thank you, Mike Mansuetti! We wish you all the best in your well-deserved retirement! 🍀👋

I kindly invite you to visit the site where you can discover how to change the world of cars forever. I share what has been achieved - to save human lives on the streets - broaden the knowledge of automotive mechanical engineers, (The invention is patented, researched and tested. We are happy to help you and accept constructive criticism from you with further tests). Another important reason is that (given the imminent expiration of the securities that I have to sell some shares), I hope that someone understands that this is a great industrial opportunity with great economic implications for the whole community, as described on the page “the new frontier. https://lnkd.in/eTn5-g4y Don't underestimate what I write, it is urgent, you will be able to verify everything in a short time. One of your mechanical engineers will understand it in half a day, there are also videos and manuals for practical implementation.

Teams and organisations. Nothing More .
Since I wrote about the last reorg level and promotions at BMW Group, there have been a few comments and questions via DM. Most of the time I am asked who is in which position now. The reactions range from shrugging shoulders via resignation to pure horror. Only one person said ironically: "they did everything right. And so did we, cuz we left." And then we have the few chosen ones. The so called „doers“. Not amused of my lines. Knowing they are part of the problem because they only care about performance and not about the company. The shortage of skilled workers is actually their egoism. Lack of innovation comes from focus on their own career. If their industry loses touch, it is because of their lack of imagination. But the real problem, the root cause, is the metrics. The companies would like to have the best of the best, an efficient team. However, the metric is incorrectly calibrated and only reflects elbow behavior, loudmouthes, cowards and social disorders. What is important is not recognised at all and so round after round there is just new [censored] floating on top and causing the “lake” to tip over. Oh and it's not just BMW... it's meanwhile in any large company. Check out this self explaining session from Simon Sinek

"The Journey to Excellence: Todd Hayes, COO of Adams Automotive" In the pursuit of excellence, there are no grand celebrations, no applause, and no accolades. The path to success is a silent one, often devoid of praise or recognition. What we envision success to be and what it truly entails are two distinct realities. It's only after accomplishing significant milestones that others may commend your achievements. However, by then, you'll understand that greatness lies not in the applause but in consistent execution. While many perceive success as extraordinary, it ultimately boils down to a simple choice: doing or not doing. Once you grasp this fundamental truth, you'll cease seeking external approval or encouragement. You'll simply focus on taking action, and that alone is sufficient to define your path to excellence.
