Struggling to find the perfect organization method in today’s fast-paced digital world? With constantly changing strategies and priorities, adaptability is key. Here’s how I stay organized and productive: 1. Prioritized Lists: I jot down tasks into three categories: priority for the day, priority for the end of the week, and general to-dos. 2. Bucket System: I divide tasks into professional, personal, and errands buckets to keep my mind clear and focused. It’s amazing how our minds can suddenly remember something out of the blue! 3. Pen and Paper: Despite the digital age, I find solace in the traditional method of writing things down. There’s something about picking up a pen and physically marking off completed tasks that feels incredibly satisfying. 4. Celebrating Wins: I use a planner that includes sections for “weekly wins” and “weekly learnings.” Even small accomplishments, like going for a walk, are celebrated as victories, especially for someone like me who can be a bit of a couch potato. 5. The Pomodoro Technique: This technique involves breaking tasks into manageable intervals, usually 25 minutes of focused work followed by a 5-minute break. It’s a game-changer for maintaining focus and productivity throughout the day. 6. Batching Similar Tasks: I group similar tasks together and tackle them in one go. It minimizes context switching and allows me to maintain momentum. 7. Digital Detox Hour: I dedicate one hour each day to disconnecting from screens and engaging in offline activities. Like recently, I did painting though I am extremely bad at it ! It was a lot of fun to focus and not pick up the phone. Let me know in the comments what works for you and how do you stay organised?

This is great, Aanvi. Here's what I do: I jot down all the tasks I need to do for the week, and then I allocate specific time slots for them - like scheduling an hour for content creation on LinkedIn. (Timeboxing) It takes a while, but it helps me plan out my whole week.  I also set aside time for unexpected tasks that might come up, so I never fill my calendar completely.  It's simple - what gets measured, gets managed.

Putting pen to paper has been one of the most effective ways for me to not just focus but also to gain clarity in the fog of seemingly long list of things to do!

I usually plan for tomorrow, today and map out in my head by when a certain task needs to be completed by. Pre-planning instead of winging it is a game changer, Aanvi Kamdar!
