Please read the attached article. And note the races and religions of the people profiled. I will address the absurd "Israel as Apartheid state" and "Jews as white colonists" canards in future posts.
As I recently noted, the attacks on Israel are the equivalent of 102,000 terrorists invading the United States killing over 47,000 Americans and launching almost 300,000 missiles at American civilians.
The article discusses the 125,000 Jews and Muslims who have been evacuated from their homes, towns and cities for months or possibly longer due to the missiles, mortar fire and tank shells raining down daily on civilians.
This is the equivalent of 4,250,000 Americans evacuated from their homes with no idea when -- or if -- they will be able to go home. This is the size of the population of 24 of our 50 states. Imagine the entire populations of Oregon or Connecticut or Oklahoma evacuated after hundreds of thousands of missiles were sent hurtling towards their schools, homes, hospitals, towns and cities by a regime sworn to annihilate the United States and cleanse it of Americans.
Or that we had to empty Maine AND Montana AND N. Dakota AND Wyoming AND Alaska AND Vermont because we could no longer keep their citizens safe.
Do you think that we or any country on this planet - let alone a tiny one the size of New Jersey - would agree to a cease-fire before that regime was dismantled and its people — and ours — freed from tyranny and terror?
I and so many others want peace so desperately, and for Palestinians to be able to live lives of safety, dignity and meaning. That is just not possible while a genocidal death cult controls Gaza.
