So proud to have had the documentary showcasing the success of ECLIPSE Family Violence Services on Māori television last night. It shares the two concepts that make ECLIPSE so different, so special, so successful and filled with integrity - that is lived experience of family violence, and lived experience of family violence practice, and the barriers that can create inequitable service response. It is the weaving together of these two critical aspects of knowledge and experience that make the difference. The concepts we have created really do support practitioners to have "ah ha" moments. Our concepts change mindset and practice, and we know this because we are told so every day by the wonderful kaimahi, practitioners and responders that attend our workshops. We are about to sell our 5000th ticket in 2 1/2 years, and I believe that when you work from a place of true integrity, well, we can truly move mountains. #ECLIPSE #LivedExperience #CoerciveControlAwareness #FrontlineRespondersAndPractitioners #CoerciveControlCriminalisation #DreamBig #BustingDownSilos #Integrity #SoSoSoProud https://lnkd.in/gyQuxN93

Sesame Workshop does it again with a great interaction between our fave red monster Elmo and Andrew Garfield. Their conversation on grief emphasizes the importance of open, honest, and direct conversations. Find more resources about grief in the shared post below. #mentalhealth #openconversations #elmo #sesameworkshop #grief
Social Media may look like a "vast wasteland," but at Sesame Workshop, much like television in 1969, we understand it to be a mass communication platform that is here to stay and should be leveraged for good. Last week, Elmo had a powerful conversation with Andrew Garfield about grief to highlight the importance of open and direct conversation when we or our loved ones are experiencing it. It has already been viewed over 20M times. Many thanks to the creators of this outstanding piece, including Courtney Hindle, Andrew Moriarty, and Christina Vittas.
