Iran's global importance in petrochemical products is significant. The country has been rapidly expanding its petrochemical industry, with a projected growth of 13 million tons per year in propylene production by 2023. This growth is expected to make Iran a major player in the global petrochemical market, with the value of its petrochemical exports reaching $18 billion since March 2022, a $3 billion increase over the previous year. The industry is also expected to become a vital revenue stream for the country, with petrochemical exports making up nearly 33% of non-oil exports. Iran's petrochemical industry is strategically important due to its high added value in the country's oil industry value-chain. The industry is expected to continue growing, with a ten-year strategic outlook forecasting the initiation and completion of 35 new projects, increasing the total production capacity to 14 million tons annually. This growth is driven by the country's abundant feedstock, highly skilled human resources, and access to water resources and coasts. Iran's petrochemical industry is also expected to play a crucial role in the country's overall growth outlook, with the industry's development and policy considerations focusing on sustainable, economical, and safe energy, as well as domestic and international environmental protection legislation. The industry is seen as a key driver of industrialization and economic growth in the country, with a projected annual growth rate of up to 10% until 2030. Overall, Iran's petrochemical industry is poised to become a significant global player, with its growth and development expected to have a substantial impact on the country's economy and energy sector. Far-fetched from real statutes of Iran petrochemical industry, I have no idea about PIDEC but Iran petrochemical industry 's trend in all aspects is catastrophic.
Is anything left from ECC?
How i can to employ in PIDEC? Can you guide me?
As I know there are many important petrochemical plants that have not been exploited for more than 20 years. The main policy that the New World Order (NWO) has decided is that Iran, with its special position in terms of its very strategic position and 10% of the world's energy and mines, will not have any major role in the economic market of petrochemical products in the world. Just imagine what would have happened if the regime of Shah (peace be upon him) had continued, employing the most famous licensors and EPC contractors like Stone&Webster, UOP, TOYO, MITSUE, Bassel, Lurgi, TopSoe .etc. After the Shah's regime, all projects in Iran are just for show off. I hope at least good things will happen in the future.

Marjan Bitar This image brought back some childhood memories. Abdolazim Hasseli thank you for the nice write up!
What you wrote is true, but I wish you would also write about the unfair and immoral behavior of some of its managers with its personnel.
The picture below the text from Eram Blvd and PIDEC entry, could have shown a better view of this prestigious company.

10moThe article paints a rosy picture of Iran's petrochemical industry, but neglects the harsh realities imposed by international sanctions. These sanctions, as you know, have significantly impacted the industry's growth trajectory. Sanctions have crippled Iran's access to critical technologies and investments. Foreign companies, wary of violating sanctions, have retreated from Iran. This has limited access to advanced equipment and expertise essential for efficient production. Additionally, sanctions have choked off Iran's ability to secure financing for new projects, hindering its expansion plans. Furthermore, sanctions have severely restricted Iran's ability to export its petrochemical products. International banks have become hesitant to facilitate transactions involving Iranian entities, making it difficult for Iran to find buyers. This has resulted in a surplus of unsold products, driving down prices and impacting overall revenue. The impact of sanctions on Iran's petrochemical industry has been undeniable. It's important to acknowledge these challenges for a more balanced perspective on the industry's future.
