Story 201- Broken cup As a child, I was a jack of all trades. Whether it was sports, extracurricular activities, or studies, I was always near the top but never quite at the pinnacle. I would often place third, fourth, or at best, second. In 11th grade, my mother issued a challenge that would change my life. She asked me, "When will you bring home a cup instead of medals or certificates?" To emphasize the point, she placed a broken teacup in our drawing room and told me that until I replaced it with a trophy, it would remain there. This target sparked something in me. I began to work harder in both sports and studies, driven by the desire to replace that broken cup. However, despite my efforts, I didn’t achieve any significant victories in 12th grade. But things took a turn when I enrolled at BIT MESRA . Determined to make a change, I started participating more actively in sports and soon began to win trophies. One by one, I replaced the broken teacups in our drawing room with the hard-earned trophies. Each cup I replaced was a testament to my dedication and perseverance. Now, those trophies stand proudly where the broken cups once were, a symbol of my journey and achievements. My take -1. I've learned the importance of setting tangible goals. 2. Having a physical representation of your target, something you see every day, can be a powerful motivator. It constantly reminds you of what you're striving for and pushes you to achieve your best.
