Nuclear energy covered more than one-fifth of Europe's electricity generation in 2023. Across Asia, many nuclear power plants are underway, surpassing the efforts of any other continent, driven by the imperative to meet their present and future power demands. Amidst the darkness engulfing over 600 million people in Africa, the continent lags behind in the deployment of nuclear power technology. While Egypt is currently orchestrating the construction of four reactors, Africa must embark on a more ambitious nuclear journey. The quest for baseload energy becomes paramount, a beacon guiding the continent towards industrialization.

However, Europe is focusing more on renewable energy and hydrogen utilization while gradually shifting from both fossil and nuclear energy.

Interesting. But the most interesting thing will be knowing that there are sources that may not decrease or increase without the possibility of control - this is fundamentally the case with wind. It is also never said what the real cost of the technologies is. All life cycle analysis should be calculated and shown. For many people it is not suitable & convenient I worked at the largest non-tech energy company in the world. If I had forgotten that I would have been fired straight away.

Is thé nuclear energy really competitive and decarbonized on the life cycle ! Green béton , Green ciment , and we will nearly reading that nuclear is a positive energy but remember Einstein , the same solutions are not possible to solve the new issues and it s valuable for people in charge .., smr, storage , micro grids , produce as you consume , stop of the thousands kms of networks included the false dream of h2 European network , stop these huge strategic mistake for humanity and our earth , wake up !!!!! Stop speculations of bonto economy !!!!

Lack of a stable energy source remains one of Nigeria's biggest problems. And Nuclear energy seems to hold the solution to Nigeria's energy crisis but I also understand that we really have to work on our power transmission and distribution lines.
