Heavy rainfall since April 12th has caused flash floods across 20 of 34 provinces, resulting in 33 deaths as of April 14th. As a result, these floods destroyed local people's agricultural lands, homes and transportation ways (as shown on the video). On the other hand, weather forecasts from meteorological agencies indicate that more heavy rains, with possible locally heavy downpours, will continue to affect most of the country through at least mid-April. #CEYI #flashflood #Afghanistan #landslide

Food Organization of the United Nations: So far, the death toll of Baghlan floods has not exceeded 300 and the number of destroyed houses has not exceeded 1,000. Agence France-Presse: So far, the number of dead has reached 311, the number of completely destroyed houses has reached 211, and the number of damaged houses has reached 2800. Flood risks loom over Balochistan's local rivers like Nushki, Pashin, Harnai, Zhob, Barkhan, Gwadar, and Kech Awaran on April 26-27 due to expected heavy rainfall. Similarly, flo_oding might occur in Dir, Swat, Chitral, Mansehra, and Kohistan from April 27-28. Lan_dslid_es are also likely in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Guliyat, Kashmir, and Gilgit during April 27-29. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) advises Provincial Disaster Management Authorities (PDMAs) and administrative bodies to stay vigilant. Farmers are urged to plan harvests, especially for wheat, according to the season. Travelers are cautioned against unnecessary trips in mountainous regions, advising awareness of weather and road conditions if travel is essential. People are reminded to avoid crossing overflowing storm drains, stay clear of haza_rdous structures like broken buildings, and be cautious in low-lying areas prone to floo_ding.
