In its basic form, all registers create a link between an entity and a natural person. A register is an important means to identify the ownership of assets, as represented by these links. Thus, it is important in how a register assigns identifiers, to both the entities on the register, and to natural persons. We are nearing completion of our latest thought leadership paper titled 'The Identity Revolution: How Digital Identifiers Are Reshaping Modern Registries'. Deploying RISs in a network can have two effects: (i) increased desired signal power at the receiver, and (ii) increased interference. The optimization of the RIS parameters aims to achieve an overall gain by increasing (i) and decreasing (ii). Given that (ii) increases with increasing the number of deployed RISs, is it a good idea to deploy many RISs in a network? In the paper "Performance of Multi-RIS-aided Cell-Free Massive MIMO: Do More RISs Always Help?" led by Bayan Al-Nahhas, we show that increasing the number of RISs is beneficial until a point, after which performance starts to deteriorate if we deploy more RISs. I was going through the primitive data types documentation and found there are actually two type of Nan (Not a number) data type qNan & sNan. qNan is referred to quite Nan is used to represent missing data sNan is referred to signaling Nan is used to represent uninitialized data that needs initialization.
