I cannot wait to take this first step. Three years ago, I made a giant leap and left my corporate job to become a #fractionalCMO. It was the first time I went out on my own. I have been incredibly fortunate to work with the best companies from startups to established organizations. Repeatedly, Founders and senior-level executives expressed interest in building their #thoughtleadership. That's what we call it when we're watching a world that has shifted from building awareness for corporate brands to building relationships through humanized brands and individuality. That massive shift is driven largely by the #creatoreconomy, a pandemic that made us more in need of greater human connection, and revolutionary technology like generative AI that made so many things in our lives much more efficient. Two years into my fractional work, I met Debbie McGonigle. We both had extensive and different backgrounds in marketing. We also both did not want to serve clients on our own AND we both never saw each other as a competitor. Life is never a zero-sum game. The world is far too big and we are all far too unique and gifted in our own ways for that type of thinking.
