I kicked off my week with a trip to Prestwick for a client review. I’m glad I wasn’t coming for a swim - All of you cold plungers are brave people by the way! I love getting out and about visiting clients, hopefully the weather is better next time and I’ll bring my golf clubs… not my speedos! 😂 #FinancialPlanning #TakeControl #MoneyMatters #FinancialEducation #WealthManagement

The do’s and don’ts of corporate golf: 1 - If you’re the first person to putt, don’t walk off the green. Make sure you’re the one to pick up the flag stick and replace it in the hole once everyone else finishes. 2 - Don’t keep playing if you've hit double par–make sure you pick up for that hole and stay considerate of the pace of play for the reminder of the group. 3 - Fill your cart partners divot, its a small act of kindness that goes a long way. Save this now so you remember these tips next time you head to a corporate outing! ⛳️ #CorporateGolf #GolfEtiquette #GolfTips

IT’S THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR for a recap of this year’s experiences from inside the ropes, as I observed how many different ways that golfers abuse the simple rules and cheat, without giving it a second thought. The article that follows is a recap of this year’s experiences from inside the ropes, as I observed how many different ways that golfers abuse the simple rules of golf and cheat, without giving it a second thought. It’s Part 3 of a Trilogy of articles that I wrote in 2008 and 2012 respectively; purposely being kept short, including only the simple and obvious infractions that I see during virtually every round I play.If I went into detail about all the examples of cheating that I’ve witnessed since the 1970s, this article would take days to read. Whether you agree or not with my findings, I welcome your comments, personal experiences, insults, etc.

Partnership Executive at Tagmarshal responsible for Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Wyoming, and Montana.
Last year, only 37% of New England Country Club’s golfers were finishing on pace. Tagmarshal’s pace of play management system helped them get that number to 84% within 3 months. New England CC partnered with Tagmarshal to: - Improve course flow for their members and players - Reduce their average round time - Gather data to aid better decision-making. That 47% improvement in pace meant that 827 rounds were positively impacted in one month alone, leading to an enhanced player experience for hundreds of golfers. Happy golfers = repeat play, positive referrals and increased spend at on-course facilities. Chip Hierlihy, PGA, the Fieldstone Golf Club GM, recently said, “If you’re not part of what’s current in technology today to optimize your business, then you’re really missing the boat.” There’s a reason more than 500 courses around the world, including 2024 Major hosts Pinehurst and Valhalla, trust Tagmarshal to help them with their pace of play and on-course operations.
