Voting is the foundation of our democracy, and it is the right that allows us to effect change and hold elected authorities responsible. It is also critical to attaining systemic equity, especially given our country's long history of denying voting rights for communities of color, particularly Black voters, which continues today. Our voting rights team is working around the country to enhance and safeguard voting rights. So we decided to put their knowledge to the test by asking them some quick-fire questions about voting rights. View their responses here. https://lnkd.in/ewX92n92

Classrooms are places for exploration–not discrimination. This week, students across Florida will return to school, and it’s their right to learn about the full breadth of American history while feeling safe and welcomed. We all must fight to oppose any effort that criminalizes or censors books and education about race, gender, or sexual orientation and supports students, educators, and everyone's fundamental right to learn. Take our pledge to defend every student’s right to learn, and we’ll share our Right to Learn toolkit. https://lnkd.in/exbP2RPX
