Non-Terrestrial Networks will be an important Native Component of 6G

There have been a great deal of efforts to make islands of electronic information systems (IS) in developing countries interoperable. However, rarely have such systems become truly interoperable. My new publication uses the System Theory and relies on empirical evidence from two IS interoperability case studies to argue that the interoperability of electronic information systems can only succeed if due attention is paid to the individual systems involved in an IS interoperability project. Apart from contributing to the existing efforts to conceptualize an IS interoperability endeavour as an intricate system of systems, it also offers practical insights to guide practitioners in delivering successful IS interoperability projects.
