The prospect of being able to embark on a new challenge at a company that was growing and had a promising dynamic.   What is the most rewarding thing about your position? The constant stream of fresh challenges each day presents, providing me with opportunities to problem-solve and grow.    What's something most people don't know about your job? The ever-changing nature of each day, where customer requests vary unpredictably, keeping the role dynamic and full of surprises.   What's one of your proudest accomplishments so far? Successfully navigating the SOC 2 renewal process    

How do you perceive your own value? The way you see yourself directly impacts how others respond to you. Early in my career, I thought I was doing great, earning $120K as a chief scientist. Then, I met someone who was making $70K in government work, and he was transitioning into the commercial world. He boldly declared he wouldn't accept anything less than $200K—and this was 20 or 30 years ago! I thought he was out of his mind, but guess what? He got hired for $220K. I was left questioning everything—how could someone with less experience and knowledge than me demand and receive such a high salary? That moment taught me a valuable lesson: your worth is determined by what you believe you deserve. It's not about comparing yourself to others; it's about recognizing your value and having the confidence to claim it.
