Yesterday, we had a really energising townhall at Proximie, where we officially launched our new company values. Despite our global and remote team - it really felt like we brought the entire org together, building on the creation of a shared understanding of who we are and where we’re going. Launching values well internally can have a powerful impact on company culture and performance. Here's how we went about it: 💬 Clear Communication: A well organised launch creates clarity and alignment, ensuring everyone understands the values and how they shape the org’s mission. Thanks Jim MacDougall for leading this so well! 🤝 Employee Engagement: Our People team led sessions with every employee in the business during the values creation process. When values are launched in a way that involves everyone, they feel connected to the purpose, which boosts morale and commitment. 🔗 Cultural Consistency: Consistently reinforcing values across the org helps embed them into daily practices and decision-making, strengthening company culture. It's why Sarah Long TAP.cert has even done the seemingly 'small' things like created fun emojis to use across Slack - it embeds them in the everyday! 🎯 Guided Decision-Making: Values provide a framework for making decisions, from strategic choices to daily operations, ensuring we all move in the same direction... and recruit the right people...
