Q2 Reflections: A Journey Through AI, Robot-Building, and Gin As we reach the year's midpoint, I'm reflecting on an unexpectedly diverse and enriching second quarter. From AI advancements to gin distribution, here's my Q2 journey: AI Observability and Insights I've joined AI Dionic as a part-time product advisor, working at the cutting edge of AI observability with brilliant minds in the industry. I'm learning daily about making AI systems more transparent, accountable, and efficient. I also had the privilege of speaking at the AI Frontier Forum on strategically deploying AI in user journeys. The focus was on identifying optimal points for AI application in business and user processes to enhance customer satisfaction. Tech Advocacy and Empowering Youth My involvement with Tech London Advocates has been rewarding, providing opportunities for knowledge sharing and collaboration in London's thriving tech ecosystem. I'm also excited about my growing robot-building course for kids and teens. This initiative aims to empower the next generation to shape their future through hands-on tech experience and a vision-led approach to regulatory frameworks. Content Creation and Niche Discovery I'm grateful for the opportunity to write guest content for Marily, offering insights from an AI Product Manager's perspective. A key development this quarter has been identifying my niche: Agentic AI and pattern design. This aligns perfectly with my passion for user journey mapping and process optimization, especially in my work with AI Dionic. An Unexpected Venture: Gin Distribution Surprisingly, I've ventured into the gin business! We've had early successes with Tech London Advocates and are now launching in the UK market through strategic partnerships. This unexpected diversification has sharpened my product management skills beyond tech, providing valuable experience in strategic partnerships, negotiation, and sales. Lessons and Moving Forward There were setbacks, including a UKRI grant rejection and job application disappointments. However, I view these as valuable learning experiences that will prove useful in future endeavors. As we enter the second half of the year, I'm grateful for these diverse experiences and excited for what's ahead. The intersection of AI, product management, and entrepreneurship continues to offer endless growth opportunities. What about you? What have been your key learnings and achievements this quarter? I'd love to hear about your experiences and insights! #AgenticAI #AIStrategy #AIProductManagement #TechAdvocacy #AIObservability
