I have not posted for a long time. But this is a great read. For those who know Disney or are an existing or an ex-cast member, we know this is #michaeleisoner2.0 again at #disney. Many times in my previous postings, I predicted that #bobiger would return to Disney; he should speak to Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs and they should return to the castle and become the future #CEO. However, after leaving the castle and still loving the brand, I learned a good CEO should always let go of his ego, manage their team members, support the team, honor the loyalty, and acknowledge achievements. I understand that one, especially C-suite personnel, all could become egoistic at a certain level, but we all know that the castle, the Great Wall, etc., were all not built by one person. On 16 October 1923, brothers Walt and Roy Disney set up Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio to produce films. From humble beginnings, the company has gone on to become one of the most recognisable brands in the world. Over the last century, Disney films have become childhood staples. Even adults will have a favourite nostalgic Disney film or one that they love to watch with children or grandchildren. There have been plenty of successes in the last 100 years – since its founding, the company has won an incredible 135 Academy Awards. In 2022, Disney employed around 220,000 people and its revenue was more than $82.7 billion (£65.1 billion). In fact, the company ranked number 53 on the 2022 Fortune 500 list of biggest companies in the US by revenue. Today marks the 100th birthday of Disney. What a truly incredible ride Mickey and his friends has been on over the past century. When we hear daily about the latest big business to flounder there are just so many lessons we can all learn from this global powerhouse. Here are my top six takeaways from the Disney journey and think carefully how you marry to these with your own business. ✅ Dream Big - Have aspirations to be great.....not simply good ✅ Deliver WOW moments - Create experiences that WOW your customers ✅ Make Change a Constant - Never stand still and keep pushing the boundaries of what's possible ✅ Focus on your Customer - Become obsessed with customer service and measure success through customer advocacy ✅ Focus on the 1%'s - Continue to focus on the 1% marginal gains which when compounded deliver market leading results ✅ Embrace technology - Use the latest technology to enhance your efficiency and delight your customers In this time of global uncertainty we should really take more time to carefully study those who have survived multiple recessions, global pandemics, wars, large scale terror atrocities, ever changing economic conditions, changing client demands and untold changes in social trends and technological innovation. I AM VERY CONFORTABLE WITH REJECTION, I know the value of what I am creating. When you undertand these customers groups : Early Adopters, Followers and Laggers you just shift to initially target companies who are Early Adopters. NO IS REDIRECTION. HOWEVER, if NO are due to BIASES towards women and minority entrepreneurs, then we haven’t made improvements to make Entrepreneurship more equitable and accessible by all people. We have failed as entrepreneurs. We are great in finding efficiences, inproving processes, so how it is possible that we can’t improve entrepreneurship and increase the rates of success? Yes, get used to rejections but NEVER to INJUSTICES! #equitableentrepreneurship #entrepreneurship #dei

Be-Know-Do Be brave, smart, and wise enough to hear and understand the lessons being taught by the no’s Know and hold onto who you are, your value, your destiny knowing that through the no’s and the lessons will be the yes that will launch you into your future if you go through the no’s with the posture of learning. Do it! All of it. The good the bad and ugly. Make the mistakes, learn from them. Apply the lessons learned. Keep going. Do it some more and keep doing it. Wake up early with purpose, say your affirmations with conviction, have a plan, execute your plan. Seek wise counsel. Keep doing the do’s! Be encouraged!
