Adam Tenner’s Post

Some know that I'm a dedicated bread baker. Facts: I have a sourdough starter that I've had for more than 20 years. I won first prize for Sourdough at last year's DC State Fair! For me, bread baking is like learning and speaking another language. No matter how good you are, there are always new mysteries, nuances, and lessons to uncover. Bread/Life Lesson: You can't rush bread. The simplest and most beautiful breads only develop flavor by slowing down. Do you have a passion that keeps you learning? #breadmaking #breadbaking #selfcare #learning

Do you love finding out that someone is taking a cool class or working on mastering a new skill - especially one that is not work-related? We do. Learning new things can be so humbling. It requires an openness and willingness to be vulnerable. And that's where the gold is. #leadership #learning #impact

I love that you won the DC State Fair. So Excellent. I am a pie and jam maker. For me, the meditative aspects of knife work, kneading, literally watching pots and ovens almost always brings me clarity on issues I've been working over in my head.

Yes! That's how I feel about pottery. So much to learn; so satisfying when you master a new skill!!
