The Presidential Environment Award, presented by the Central Environmental Authority of Sri Lanka, is acknowledged as the highest honor bestowed upon an organization for outstanding contributions to environmental conservation and eco-friendly practices. Every step and action we take aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the clearly defined targets set in our DPL Pulse: ESG Roadmap for 2030. This recognition is a testament to the fact that with commitment and innovation, it’s possible to balance industrial production with environmental conservation, even in the most demanding contexts, and sets a high standard within the Rubber Based Production Industry. SRS Adopter bpha has published its Environment Strategy 2023-2028. The Bedford-based social housing provider says that the effects of climate change are becoming increasingly apparent and it recognises the need for action. bpha's new Environment Strategy sets out targets and goals in the following areas: 🏘️ Reducing the carbon footprint of its homes. 🌳Protecting green spaces and increasing biodiversity 💧Managing and reducing water use The social housing provider also recently published its Sustainability Report 2023 against the SRS, highlighting its current performance and overall operational approach to environmental considerations.
