Consultant/advisory voice to brilliant folk, having founded, grown, and sold an agency and a consultancy; also still being Forbes/IPA Council Member, ITAFC U9s Coach, TalkTV Contributor, SxSW keynoter, writer, dad.
Hard to explain how proud I am to see this question featured in Campaign Magazine UK's School Report questionnaire: it's the culmination of an awful lot of hard work, from an awful lot of people, and while it may seem small, the hope is that there are currently an awful lot of agency CEOs pretty annoyed that they have to say 'no', and getting in touch with the Living Wage Foundation to find out just how easy and quickly they can get accredited. (Spoiler alert: as long as you pay people properly, it's really quick, and really easy.) Thank you again to Maisie, Beau, and everyone else at Campaign who's listened to me and Stu bang on about this over the years: your support is as appreciated now as it's ever been. And if you're reading this, and don't know if the agency you work at (or, you know, run) is Living Wage accredited, then email your Chief Exec and ask - because when the School Reports are published in March, everyone's going to find out.

Earlier this year, the IPA set out the policy areas that we would ask a new Government to focus on, and we are pleased to note that a number of these align with Labour’s 'Creating Growth Plan for the Arts, Culture and Creative Industries'. At the top of our list was “the need for an incoming government to champion our industry and help it to continue to thrive in order to help the UK.” And so we were delighted that, in the foreword they asserted that arts and culture have intrinsic value, stating that: “They and the creative industries as a whole, also have enormous economic value to the UK, and huge growth potential. Their story is already one of growth against the odds, with their value (GVA) increasing by 5% in real terms between 2019 and 2022, compared with 2% growth in the overall economy.” For the full IPA reaction to last week's election: https://lnkd.in/eEPCdsnY
