When instead of children, schools host missile launchers, explosives and armed terrorists, they are no longer considered schools but a military bases, and in accordance with international law, are legitimate targets. Many around the world, deliberately or not, misinterpret international law. The law doesn't say schools and hospitals must never be attacked. It clearly says, that they should not be attached AS LONG AS THEY ONLY SERVE FOR CIVILIAN PURPOSES. The international law clearly states, that any such facility that is used for military purposes - immediately becomes a legit target. Period. 12% of UNRWA employees are also active members of terror groups (mostly Hamas but also Islamic Jihad and others). Their "schools" teach (or taught...) young kids how to become martyrs and kill Jews. Its facilities actively host terrorists, and missiles are constantly fired from schools and other UNWRA facilities. Under its facilities Hamas dug tunnels, to use kids as human shields, and it drew power and internet connectivity directly from the UNWRA headquarters. UNRWA must be de-funded and dismantled immediately. #hamas #gaza #terrorism #unrwa

The world should not look the other way as these man made humanitarian crises continue to escalate in the Middle East. Provision of the much needed food, medical and critical survival supplies is welcome, however a total cessation of war should be the rallying call by everyone. Silence at the moment will lead to a huge question on the value of life and global peace and an indictment on the present world leaders by the future generations.
I am on a Ramadan solidarity mission to Jordan to meet Palestine refugees being served by UNRWA. I visited a health centre, sat in on classes, and met with inspiring young student leaders. Here in Jordan, but also in Syria, Lebanon and, of course, in the occupied West Bank & Gaza - UNRWA is a lifeline of hope and dignity: providing education for over half a million girls and boys, health care for around two million people, and ensuring a social safety net for nearly half a million of the poorest Palestinians. In a darkening world, UNRWA is the one ray of light for millions of people. We must not take that hope away.

"The views expressed are my own and do not reflect those of my current or past employers. My intent is to highlight the suffering of voiceless human beings, without any relation to religion or politics."
It's astonishing to witness the remarkable resilience of Palestinians, especially in Gaza, enduring relentless bombing and extreme cruelty of starvation. Yet, what inspires awe is their dignified perseverance, humanity, and reliance on prayer. As our weaponry and hard-earned dollars fuel this genocide, and as we're losing confidence in our elected representatives, it's imperative that we engage in peaceful political activism to rebuild trust in America/EU and safeguard the social contract from dissolution. It's clear that the world has awakened to the truth behind decades of misinformation and the injustice of occupation. #Humanitarianaid 🙏 #FundUNRWA 🙏

Another of the reality versus your daily lies: Some inconvenient truths that’ll surely anger the anti Israel crowd. No country in history ever supplied so much food and medical aid to the enemy and its populus as Israel has during this current war. (Note that these numbers have only increased since March) Israel is already facilitating the entry of more than 1,000 trucks of aid to Gaza per week and stands ready to do more. Since Hamas initiated the war on October 7, 280,080 tons of aid have entered on 15,207 trucks. Since the start of the war, Israel has denied entry to only 1.6% of trucks seeking to enter Gaza. The main obstacle to humanitarian aid reaching civilians is the distribution mechanism inside of Gaza. Truck drivers are also delaying distribution by arriving late to Rafah and leaving early. During the war, more food trucks have entered Gaza than prior to the war — on average an increase of more than 50% per day. 184,5000 tons of food have entered Gaza since the start of the war. Four tankers carrying cooking oil enter Gaza every day — a sufficient quantity to meet the needs of the territory. 310 cooking gas tanks have entered Gaza since the start of the war. The World Food Program is currently supplying 15 massive Gazan bakeries — with the capacity to produce more than 2 million pita breads, rolls, and other breads per day. Israel has facilitated the delivery of more than 18,400 tons of medical supplies to Gaza since Hamas attacked Israel. On March 2, Israel also delivered 50 incubators for hospitals across Gaza. Israel has facilitated the entrance of 74 ambulances to Gaza and more than a million vaccine doses. Israel has worked with Jordan and the UAE to establish two field hospitals in Khan Yunis and Rafah. Additional field hospitals are operated by the Red Crescent and the International Medical Corps. Over 600,000 Syrians have been killed since 2013. Where are the protests in streets and universities worldwide and condemnation at the U.N.? That is why this attack on Israel worldwide is pure Antisemitism. As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who on Oct. 22, 1967, forcefully rebuked the expression of anti-Zionist remarks: “Don’t talk like that! When people criticize ‘Zionists,’ they mean Jews. You’re talking antisemitism.””

Stop violence! Stop seeding hatred! There is almost nothing left to destroy! What is needed is an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian aid, followed by non-violent interaction as equals between the more moderate parts of the populations. This will lead to mutual understanding and empathy and will exchange fear for trust. It is the only path to sustainable peace and solving the conflict forever. Radicals will be speechless. Thousands of #refugees from #Myanmar are seeking safety across India’s northeastern borders. Despite the #Manipur conflict and tribes being displaced, they’re finding ways to support the refugee groups with whom they share deep-rooted ties. Swipe to know more about the why, how, what, where and when of these unpredicted connections. This #resilience and #solidarity showcase that borders may divide land, but they cannot divide human connection. 💪 Help us reach the international community and organizations such as the United Nations, International Committee of the Red Cross - ICRC, and IOM - UN Migration to step in and ensure these communities receive the support they deserve. If you're interested in amplifying the voices of those #displaced in remote areas of the country, we’d be happy to connect you with refugee groups in need of our support. How can you and the UN be trusted when I read and try to digest this: “” Testimony at United Nations Human Rights Council by UN Watch executive director Hillel Neuer Mr. President, the United Nations and this Council are charged with protecting the right to life, the right to be free from torture, the rights of women to be treated equally. Today we ask: Is the Council protecting these basic human rights for the people of Iran? In September 2009, we came here with political prisoner Ahmad Batabi and activist Nazanin Afshin-Jam, to demand an urgent session on Iran. We pressed again and again for 13 years. Finally, on 24 November 2022, this Council met and created a fact -finding mission into Tehran’s bloody crackdown on protesters, in wake of the death of Mahsa Amini. Now, we’ve all seen the report released one week ago. The mission found many serious human rights abuses amounting to crimes against humanity — including murder, imprisonment, torture, rape, persecution, forced disappearances, and other inhumane acts, committed as part of a widespread systematic attack against a civilian population, namely women and girls. Today we ask: By what logic, by what morality, was this Islamic Republic of Iran named in November as Chair of the UN Human Rights Council Social Forum? How will we explain this to the women tortured and raped in Evin prison? This same Islamic Republic of Iran sponsors terrorism and illegally seeks a nuclear weapon. Why is it in this very building on Monday, the Islamic Republic of Iran will become President of the UN Conference on Disarmament? By what logic and morality can a terrorist government be named head of a global body charged with disarmament?”” UN is a farce …
