50/100 Day Challenge Day 3out of 100 as Dr. Ireti's Mentee. As I continue on my 100-day cybersecurity journey, I wanted to share key insights from my deep dive into notable cyber attacks. Today's focus was on three significant incidents that highlight critical security concerns: Persirai Botnet: Targeted IoT devices like IP cameras using default passwords, emphasizing the need to secure all connected devices diligently. Equifax Data Breach :Exposed 147 million individuals' sensitive information due to an unpatched Apache Struts vulnerability, underscoring the importance of regular system updates. Stuxnet :Showcased the reality of cyber warfare by sabotaging physical infrastructure in Iran, serving as a wake-up call to recognize and address the potential of cyber threats. Key Takeaways: 1.loT vulnerabilities must be addressed proactively to prevent attacks on connected devices. 2. Data protection is foundational and requires regular system updates to prevent breaches. 3. Cyber warfare awareness is crucial in today's digital landscape. #CyberSecurity #DataProtection #CyberWarfare
