If I am a health system or provider and reading the news of Amazon Clinic today, I am thinking of playing to my strengths. Here is what you have: 1. Health plan contracts. Hard to compete with 'free-to-no-charge.' Certainly, high deductibles impact this but you can offer insurance covered items. 2. Patients. This means no CAC. That is essentially '$0.00' to gain the attention of a customer. Plus, they trust you. Package your telehealth, services, medical supplies, into a marketplace. Play their game. So where would I start? Integrate your telehealth into a shopping experience. Add in insurance covered products & retail. Shop with your insurance.
