2023 has been left behind, and though these first two months have flown by, we are still at the very beginning of a book with 12 new chapters—the book of 2024. ✨📖 This weekend, we gathered for our annual “kick-off” a little outside of Stockholm, in the serene Smådalarö. 🛶🏞️🇸🇪 While we looked back and appreciated what we learned from 2023, we more importantly discussed the strategies and approaches we'll adopt to navigate through the year ahead. So much is happening, and we cannot wait. 😃🎈 Active Minds Events AB enriched us with the "The Advania Office Challenge," designed not just to enhance our intellect but also to underscore the benefits of teamwork. It was an incredibly fun experience! 🧩 Want to play along? 😎 Try this quiz question with us: "Which famous individual is tied to these clues: 1. A celestial body shares his name. 2. Born in Zanzibar. 3. Achieved fame with a band that carries a royal title. 4. Made his mark in the world of rock music." Type in your guess in the comments 🤩 Patrik Lännerberg guided us on a journey of knowledge and personal development, emphasizing the importance of nurturing our individual strengths. This approach is going to allow us to learn, grow, and develop together as a team. 🙏 Creative Meetings was there to help us ensure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to concentrate on what's important to us. Now as we continue our work, we look ahead. 🔭 Let’s just say... Exciting things are coming soon. 🤫🤩 We also have something special coming for you in this community. We want to make it less about ‘us’ and more about you! We can’t wait to hear your voices and ideas. 💡 In the meantime, would you like us to continue sharing insights into what’s happening on the international stage? Give us a ‘like’ or leave an emoji in the comments to let us know we're on the right track. 😃🙌🚀🍀✨ #CX #Contactcentersolutions #Advania #CCaaS #teamwork

It’s that time of year, when summer is round the corner, and we’ve got lots of great summer events to look forward to. Whether you’re going to be enjoying strawberries whilst watching the tennis (I’m not!), or heading off to a festival (this one I will be doing with my teenage daughter – wish me luck!), I can confidently say that 2024 is shaping up to be another bumper year for fan engagement. The UK summertime is always packed with such iconic events and mobile operators have a great chance to be the main attraction with seamless and reliable 5G connectivity. Insights from Ericsson's Consumer Lab research show that fan behaviour is evolving, presenting opportunities for completely new fan experiences using 5G technology and also creating new revenue streams for mobile operators. As a fan myself, I understand the importance of good quality connectivity but what is most interesting to me with my work hat on is how we can help UK operators capture those potential new opportunities and make events more memorable. Events can deliver truly unforgettable moments for millions of people and if you can put a smile on their face with superior connectivity, then they are willing to pay 11% more and they will be three times less likely to move to a different operator. Consumer value is everything when it comes to fan experiences and capturing the value of 5G is where the leaders will stand out most. 🎬 DTSE Behind the Scenes featuring: Lucia Timková, Ante Plazonić, and Miroslav Hloušek interviewed by Martina Chmelová 🎤 Our latest video in the "Behind the Scenes" series presents three inspiring stories from Slovakia. Featuring Lucia Timková, Ante Plazonić and Miroslav Hloušek, this episode showcases how these three colleagues participated in the DTSE exchange program and returned with new skills, perspectives, and career changes. 👉 Ante stepped out of his comfort zone and spent six months abroad, supported by his wife during parental leave, and later transitioned into a new role at Deutsche Telekom Services Europe - Slovakia. 🗣️ “Keep your expectations open and be ready to take whatever comes your way. It can be a challenge to step out of your comfort zone, but the experiences gained are invaluable.” 👉 Miroslav applied for an exchange program and joined his team in Germany. During his exchange he was strengthening relationships and deepening his skills. 🗣️ “The first step is to approach your direct manager and discuss where you would like to be assigned. I knew I wanted to stay with DTSE, so I moved to Bonn in Germany and took on new topics at work.” 👉 Meet Lucia and learn about her transformative experiences. She successfully balanced family life with her two small children while managing her career during her time at the Bonn headquarters. 🗣️ “Sometimes the experience itself is the real reward. Even if all you get is the chance to meet fantastic people and get to know the company, consider that goal achieved.” Want to see the whole interview? Telekom employees can watch it on our YAM page. The best money we spend as a business? That's easy.... Bringing our people together for the annual Team Retreat. A few weeks ago, we took the Triyit team to Budapest for a few days. Why? 2 reasons... Firstly, to celebrate: - A record year of growth - Our new technology platform going live - And... closing a 7-figure VC investment Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, to just spend some quality time together, get to know each other better, and get everyone fully aligned with the ambitious and very exciting year ahead. Budapest was the perfect backdrop for our annual Team Retreat. It's an amazing place, full of amazing people! We ate well, we drank well, and we laughed - a lot! We strategised, we ideated, and we created - even more! We all left feeling: → Energised by what we had accomplished over the past year → Aligned with the plan for the next phase of aggressive growth → Focused on our mission to connect consumers and brands like never before These moments together are priceless. They remind us of how lucky we are to be surrounded by such wonderful people. As we gear up for our next chapter, I'm more convinced than ever: The best investment we can make is in our people and the time we spend together, reflecting, ideating, planning, and celebrating! Because when great minds align with a powerful mission, magic happens. Watch this space. The best is yet to come. #FMCG #TeamRetreat #TeamSuccess

Part 1: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 Without a doubt, this ERG Conference at Rakuten International has been the most impactful conference I've ever experienced. Brilliant leaders from different ERGs shared their roller coaster journeys of ups and downs, trials and triumphs, grit and perseverance. 🌟𝐊𝐄𝐘 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒🌟 : 🏃 ♂️Simple, 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 in ERGs can lead to big impacts. Last week I attended #SXSWSydney. Having been to #SXSW Austin several times, I was intrigued and excited to see how Sydney would bring this incredible festival of creativity and innovation to life. I was ready to soak up the latest trends, tech and topics. What I discovered was a little different 🤔 . Amidst a jam-packed week of talks and some fantastic rally cries to take action, 4️⃣ recurring themes stood out and made me feel a bit like I was on Groundhog Day! 1) Climate change - as corporates and citizens, we must do more, and our investors and governments need to stop asking for a short-mid term ROI on saving the planet! 😵💫 2) Social Media - one entertainment platform claiming to be the first to enable anyone to become a storyteller 🤦♀️ and the hot topic of 36 Months (if you haven't signed - please do it NOW) ; 3) Women in business - not enough, it's a struggle, and of course, we're great! 4) How to be creative, use creativity more and think creatively...the irony that the gap in this style of thinking has to be discussed and taught to the thousands of leaders and marketers of our top businesses and corporations at the conference should not be lost on us! 5) AI - How are we doing, and what's to come next? Over the next three days, I’ll be sharing my takeouts from SXSW Sydney on from three themes that were highlights for me: 1) 🎨 What does being creative take? 2) 🔥 The progress - or lack of it, on how our companies and as individuals can take action for climate change, 3) 🤳 Tik Tok - How brands can play, and why they should be on this channel. There was so much to take in and enjoy, and for year two, it seemed a brilliant turnout (inspite of the strange October weather patterns). The 100’s of event organisers, stewards and volunteers did a fantastic job of guiding us around the rabbit warren of rooms and locations, all with smiles on their faces, and the multiple free (and good) coffee carts were a welcome touch! Thanks #SXSWSydney team. But for me, whilst I came away with lots of interesting facts and thoughts, there weren't any big ‘wow, how did they achieve that?’ brand moments or ‘that’s wild! How could I use that thinking or tech in my work?’ moments. And I wonder, perhaps it wasn’t the curation of talks, brands and tech, but rather the rate of tech innovation and the brand activation legacy that is making us all a little numb to where we are today? And the topics we are tackling are just so big that they need more air time? Thanks to all involved in hosting, producing and talking at SXSWSydney - as a colleague said, it’s no easy task to host and participate in an event for us critical marketers! Would love to hear your views on the week? And I hope you enjoy my upcoming learnings. #SXSWSydney #DestinationNSW #Marketinginspiration

Graphic Design Specialist, Marketer and Possibly your Future Colleague 🌟 Expertise in Branding, Video Editing, Motion Graphic & 2D Animation 🪄
Do you have something unique about you that makes you stand out from the crowd? When I first arrived in Finland, I noticed that I would attract a few stares, although not as much as here, where nobody even seems to look. However, not many were comfortable. I often felt awkward, more so than people made me feel. But, as time went on, I realized that embracing what makes me different is key to building self-confidence. I began to feel more confident because I was different. I'm always the one who stands out at events, meetings, and wherever I go because of the diversity I bring. And you know what? Being different allows you to stand out and shine. I remember someone on my LinkedIn posted a picture of an event where I was also present, and I instantly spotted myself in the crowd as the only one with head scarf. It made me realize that being unique isn't a weakness; it's my strength. Moreover, I've noticed that Finland's work environments are increasingly embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion. It's heartening to see companies here welcoming individuals from various backgrounds and cultures, making an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and respected. Just like the company I work in, Crowd For Impact, we are three different nationalities, races, and backgrounds. We embrace the diversity of perspectives and cultures, and it enriches our work environment in profound ways. So, if you ever feel like you don't quite fit in, remember that your uniqueness is what makes you special. Embrace it, and watch yourself glow. 😎
