Helping businesses create a work environment where their employees can thrive | Employee Experience | Employee Lifecycle | HR Consultant
Our second Line Manager training session on Induction and Probation took place this morning .....the difference being today it was online rather than in person giving our line managers a choice of session style to attend. A great discussion around what a good induction and probation programme looks like and the tools a line manager can use to help them plan, communicate and keep records of progress. We've all been a new starter at one point in time, we all know how we were made to feel, what we remember that enhanced our experience and what we remember that was lacking and from this it can help shape how we support new starters to embed within their role and the organisation overall. #employeeengagement #employeeexperience #leadershipandmanagement #business #training

A few of the takeaways I had from this week's training: (1) it is important to find what motivates you or what makes you fulfilled in order to give your best at work, (2) what is more satisfying and engaging is to do a task or find a work that is related to your talent, and (3) focus on your well-being is what will make you a better worker, a better member to your community and a better family member

Training programs play a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities and skills of employees, providing them with a solid foundation for proficient job performance. These programs go beyond basic onboarding by offering targeted and specialized training that aligns with the specific requirements of the job roles within an organization. By participating in these training initiatives, employees gain access to a diverse range of tools and resources designed to empower them in their respective roles. This may include hands-on technical skills, industry-specific knowledge, and the latest tools and technologies relevant to their field. As a result, employees become well-equipped to navigate the challenges of their job responsibilities with confidence and competence. A few folks reached out and asked if I am changing careers since I posted my Certification in Rehabilitation Counseling….Absolutely not! I am beyond motivated to continue my career as a Commercial Sales Trainer helping field teams learn, grow, and overcome obstacles to achieve their goals! My background is in Rehabilitation Counseling: Understanding the psychosocial aspects of disease and disability and advocating and removing barriers for people who are experiencing injury, disease, or disability. CRC-trained professionals work to ensure the rights covered by the ADA law are understood, respected, and followed, and that reasonable accommodations are provided. I'm keeping up my certification because as a Life Sciences Training Professional: · I am committed to a culture of DE&I in the onboarding and learning environment, and removing unnecessary barriers to learning · I am committed to understanding the patients we serve through the medications our industry manufactures, markets, and sells · I am committed to providing coaching with a growth mindset to ALL trainees and meeting attendees. As a certified counselor, I have specific skills that I use when coaching others to overcome obstacles Please reach out if you discuss or have questions about creating inclusive onboarding and learning plans.
