Our country is happy and proud of influencers like Nancy Tyagi, Niharika NM, Ankush Bahuguna, Viraj Ghelani, and everyone who made it to Cannes 2024. And why shouldn't we be? The Cannes is this big event where mainly movie stars from all over the world go. But this time, our influencers—our creators—got invited. If Bollywood stars can use social media to get more people to watch their movies, why can't our influencers slay on the red carpet and get more eyeballs? What makes it exclusive is the "invite only" format of the event. 3. Cannes is a film festival for the craft of movies with no relevance to influencers whatsoever! 4. Brute a French media channel, is also the media partner of Cannes and hence gets the tickets for the premiers, the red carpet etc. 📍 Here is where Brut India has commercialized Cannes and makes a lot of money. - Brut sells tickets to Cannes at crazy prices and the influencers go to any length to buy one for themselves. - A ticket can cost as much as Rs 30 lacs for walking the carpet.All the influencer has to do now is to get a brand to sponsor this and endorse the brand for visibility. - Now comes Agency in this.An agency negotiates to get the per head ticket prices on a lower end so that they can send more influencers and get more brands onboard. - It is alleged that a lot of A list Indian influencers you saw this year at Cannes have paid onwards of Rs 25 lacs out of their pockets to go to Cannes.
