Public buyers and social economy actors from Finland are invited to come to Helsinki on 23 September (09-16 EEST) for a training to gain expertise in socially responsible public procurement (SRPP). Register here: https://shorturl.at/Qvqrj Application deadline: #16 #September! During the training, participants will be introduced to the basics of Socially Responsible Public Procurement (SRPP), deep dive into the practice of market dialogues, and explore the challenges SEE’s face in accessing tenders for high-value, high-scope contracts. There will also be sessions exclusively for SEE and Contracting Authorities. The former will focus on capacity building and familiarise SEE’s with different forms of #public #procurement and relevant legislation, and teach them how to respond to #SRPP criteria in public tenders. The session for Contracting Authorities will focus on the proper use of #social considerations in selection criteria, technical specifications, award criteria and contract performance clauses. It will also how the execution of social clauses can be monitored during the execution of the contract. The training, organised in the context of the #WeBuySocialEU project, will take place in Finnish and will be organised by ICLEI Europe in cooperation with Silta-Valmennusyhdistys ry.
