The recent unveiling of the Starlab Space JV, a collaborative effort between Voyager Space and Airbus to create the next International Space Station, represents a groundbreaking milestone in commercial space exploration.
Coinciding with this, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has made a significant announcement to provide the Crew and Science Airlock module for NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Artemis Lunar Gateway. These concomitant announcements demonstrate a remarkable alignment in the vision and goals of global space exploration efforts.
The synchronicity of these two ventures – Starlab and the Artemis Lunar & Sustain Lunar Development Gateway – underlines the UAE's prominent role in the international space community.
We are proud to support projects that not only push the boundaries of human knowledge and capabilities in space but also foster a spirit of international collaboration and discovery.

Another milestone year for aviation - as Kelvin Coleman mentioned in his report, this past year has been a roaring success for aviation and commercial space transport. Streamlining processes and innovation has been the pillars of these improvements. Our branch: small engines and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) is working with the same principles. We are on the forefront of innovation, and streamlining has been in our companies DNA from the start. Following the Federal Aviation Administration and their successes closely and staying in tune with the whole aviation network will be on our agenda in 2024, as we prepare for the first big international airshows and conferences.

🛰️ Yesterday, I shared our latest Third Vector Ventures blog post describing the cloud technology advancements catalyzed by the 9/11 tragedy (linked in comments). Today, we are facing similar technology shifts in #spacetechnology, which require strong partnership between government, industry, and capital providers.
🚀 The US space industry is fortunate to have a thoughtful, pragmatic regulator in Kelvin Coleman. As stated below, he aims to push the commercial space industry forward while maintaining societal safety. Through Kelvin’s work and the work of (Chair of the National Space Council) Vice President Kamala Harris for President, 2024, we have confidence that the space industry will grow at a pace only previously seen by the cloud industry.
🇺🇸 Our elected officials and regulators are doing their parts. Third Vector Ventures aims to do our part as one of the only #venturecapital firms exclusively focused on the commercial use cases of space technology across every major industry. This is the time to get to work, everyone. We have liftoff 🚀

Oversight and scrutiny come with being a regulator of a growing industry that has public safety impacts. I welcomed the questions from members of Congress during a hearing of the House science subcommittee on space and aeronautics. We discussed our commercial space transportation licensing process and the ways that the FAA and industry need to work together to improve efficiency, always putting safety first.
Yesterday, Krupal Patel (far left), our Senior Director of National Security, Space Business Development, joined fellow industry leaders to discuss "Manufacturing Next Generation Space Infrastructure." It was interesting to both share and hear different perspectives on the industry. It has been a great week at World Space Business Week.
