CTF is evolving from a game of fun into a real-world training ground for various cybersecurity positions, and with this I'm happy to share a quick overview about the challenges that I created : - The first challenge, sisCall, assesses participants' skills in bypassing anti-debuggers, understanding seccomp rules, and utilizing the Z3 library. - The second challenge focuses on both dynamic and static analysis, mirroring the real-world demands of a reverse engineer. 📅 Cybersecurity awareness month is a call to action for board members. With cyberattacks on critical infrastructure surging by 125% annually, it’s clear that equipping ourselves with the knowledge to defend against the ever-changing threat landscape is more crucial than ever. At a recent forum hosted by NACD Texas TriCities Chapter, Kumar R Parakala, president of GHD Digital, emphasized the pivotal role of board members in cyber crisis management. Board members cannot simply delegate the responsibility of cyber strategy and protection to executives. They must be well-informed about the broader ecosystem, including the use of AI, and commit to continuous learning. Here are three key actions for board members: 1️⃣ Regularly update their knowledge to stay ahead of emerging threats 2️⃣ Ask insightful questions to ensure management is implementing the best solutions 3️⃣ Advocate for responsible cyber policies across all sectors. Cybersecurity is a top priority and will remain so. Board members play a vital role in driving organizational cyber readiness.
