Arsenal F.C are considering expanding their 60,000-seat Emirates Stadium in North London. Co-chair Josh Kroenke revealed that initial internal discussions have begun but emphasised that it's still early to detail any plans. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: The stadium, built in 2006, was one of the largest in the UK at the time. However, other clubs have since expanded their venues: • 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱: Old Trafford increased to 74,000 seats. • 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝘀𝗽𝘂𝗿: New 62,850-seat stadium. • 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗺: Moved to 62,500-seat London Stadium. • 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗹: Anfield expanded to 61,015 seats. • 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆: Upgrading Etihad Stadium to 62,000 seats. • 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀: Barcelona and Real Madrid expanded to 105,000 and 84,000 seats, respectively. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁: Potential expansion methods include: • 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The polycarbonate roof could be removed and replaced, allowing for additional rows of seating. • 𝗟𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵: Adding rows at the bottom of tiers by lowering the playing surface, similar to SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁: Any expansion will likely require Arsenal to invest in local infrastructure improvements. Previous construction led to enhancements at Highbury & Islington and Finsbury Park stations, and future work might involve Holloway Road and Drayton Park stations. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: The demand for Arsenal tickets is high, with a season ticket waitlist nearing 100,000 people. Arsenal Women’s team also frequently sells out the Emirates, indicating robust support and the need for a larger capacity to accommodate fans. Paris Olympics has supported construction growth in France The Olympics are not just about sports; they're a powerful catalyst for infrastructure and commercial development. With Paris hosting the 2024 Olympics, we expect France’s civil engineering activity to grow robustly by 3% in 2024, driven by major infrastructure projects in preparation for the Games. The Olympics also boosted commercial building activity over the first half of the year, in particular for hotel construction. 🔗Request a free trial of our Global Construction Service to uncover more insights: https://okt.to/N0XVj2 🔗Read more about the economics of Olympics: https://okt.to/SC3w5g #ParisOlympics #construction

46 DAYS TO GO - 60 REASONS TO VISIT BYTNAR LTD STAND THIS YEAR 🔵 REASON NO 15🔵 WE ARE HUMAN! And how does it transpire? You well know that contracts are made between businesses, but projects are delivered by people within these. We think about you as an extension of our team, or otherwise, we think about us as a part of your team when we are appointed for your project. We are only humans so tempers, egos, sleepless nights and problems can well be adverse to good communication and collaboration if the only thing you consider is the bottom line. Do not get me wrong if the business is not doing well no one in this business is and your projects are delivered poorly, so the bottom line is critical. BUT It is equally adverse if the bottom line becomes the only reason why you exist. Did you ever need to claim insurance or anything from the airline when your flight was delayed? – right, you will only do this business if you have to and unfortunately, you do. We deal with numbers and specifications but between these and the project is YOU and we care about YOU! Expect collaboration, conversation and looking for solutions when you play the game with us. It is just 46 days to the Kent Construction Event of the Year Kent Construction EXPO 2024 held at Detling's Kent Event Centre. But do not wait till the event, get in touch to discuss your projects and needs. 💡 Better still, go to our website and book a 25-minute free consultation on the day of the EXPO and make the most out of the show!💡 - link below (there are only 14 spaces available). https://lnkd.in/e2xGkg_C www.bytnar.co.uk info@bytnar.co.uk 01233367987 BYTNAR - DESIGNS THE WORLD AROUND YOU Event powered by: Kent Construction Focus Group (KCFG) Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce
