“I am Adam Lopez, a Lead Generator Technician for Aggreko at Formula E in the U.S as part of the events team. Within my role at Aggreko, I thoroughly inspect and maintain generators, including control panels, wiring, oil levels, alternators, and radiators, to prevent potential issues. A lot of my job is about making sure challenges are managed and solutions are found before any problems come to a head. The day normally starts at 5:30am, when I arrive early on-site. The team and I run through our safety briefing and cover all the necessary steps before our working day begins. Every day is different working within Formula E, which keeps us on our toes and our working week interesting! Sustainability is key within both Aggreko and Formula E, which is why we use our ‘Tier 4’ generators across the event to minimize fuel consumption and emissions.
