With increased funding to the Congo Basin there is progress being made toward transitioning to agroecological farming practices. This year, Agroecology Fund launched regional funds in Eastern and West Africa and look forward to increased investments in these regions from new donor members. We are proud to partner with SAILD to support the upcoming 1st Congo Basin Agroecology Forum Nov 18-19, 2024. Details: https://lnkd.in/gx-7fy6q
Greengrants grantee partner Emmanuel Eku shares why funding is critical for communities hoping to transition to agroecological farming practices. https://lnkd.in/gxFEZtY8
Sustainable financing of grassroots actors as well as movements is important for advancing agroecology. The regional forum on agroecology in the Congo Basin is a unique opportunity to bring together stakeholders to reflect on various agroecology approches and share experiences like that of Emmanuel Eku. Thank you to our partner Agroecology Fund for supporting this initiative
