Alminica AB is part of preproposal for The Clean Energy Transition Partnership. Our contribution is added value to the technology by innovation capacity and impact creation. The CETPartnership is a multilateral and strategic partnership of national and regional research, development and innovation programmes in European Member States and Associated Countries. The partership aims to boost and accelerate the energy transition and to support the implementation of the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan). The will empower the clean energy transition and contribute to the EU’s goal of becoming the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. This is achieved by pooling national and regional RDTI funding for a broad variety of technologies and system solutions required to make the transition. The partnership is an initiative co-funded by the European Union that brings together public and private stakeholders in the research and innovation ecosystems, from European and non-European countries and regions. The partnership will foster transnational innovation ecosystems and overcome a fragmented research and innovation landscape. The vision is reflected in the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) that has the goals: - Building innovation ecosystems that support capacity building at all levels - Developing and demonstrating technology and solutions for the transition of energy systems - Building a transnational transformative Joint Programming Platform

It's great to see Christian Pilgaard Zinglersen , Director of EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER), including some of the results from our most recent study, 'Prospects for Innovative Power Grid Technologies', at the opening day of the Copenhagen Infrastructure Forum. Today marks a significant moment for sustainable and clean energy in Europe. The European Commission, in collaboration with Germany, has announced a new milestone in their journey to enhance clean energy financing across the continent. Germany is proudly stepping forward as the first Member State to participate in the EU's innovative “Auctions-as-a-Service” scheme, a part of the European Hydrogen Bank initiative. This pioneering move underlines Germany's dedication to leading the way in sustainable energy practices. In a substantial financial commitment, Germany is set to contribute €350 million from its national budget specifically for hydrogen production within its borders. This is in addition to the €800 million already allocated for European projects through the EU Innovation Fund. This substantial investment will significantly bolster efforts to attract and fund more renewable hydrogen projects, amplifying the impact of this clean energy source. The Commission is now encouraging other Member States to capitalize on this opportunity and join this progressive scheme in future auctions, aiming to drive a widespread and impactful shift towards renewable energy in Europe. Conferences and exhibitions allow engagement and communication with people face to face and without the pressure of a fixed agenda. Free flowing conversations that explore innovation and new ideas are a refreshing change from the schedule of teams meetings that pervade the day to day. What are my takeaways from two days at All-Energy Exhibition and Conference last week and three days this week at UKREiiF? Joined up investment in a future energy system is crucial to unlock development opportunity and connect large generation to changing demands as buildings decarbonise. This new energy system will create new jobs and a transition from jobs in the fossil industry. It will enable new and sustainable economic investment. Future planning of this system will take account of changing energy systems to connect solar, large offshore wind to consumers with data centres, district heating networks and integrating with balancing in battery storage and large thermal energy storage. There is a wall of investment waiting to enable new housing, mixed use and commercial development as well a retrofitting of existing properties. This investment depends on certainty of policy at national and local levels. Local partnerships will enable resource constrained local authorities to work with the private sector to address energy and development projects and to bring the best out of both parties’ expertise and powers to enable long term sustainable outcomes.
