Cofounder Peerr | Connecting the Health and Life Sciences world | NHS Clinical Entrepreneur | Podcast: The Scrubbed in Show

📣 Doctors and others in health and life-sciences, don't underestimate what it means to be visible. I see the same faces at various conferences across the year (not that it's a bad thing) but I often think about the consultants and colleagues I personally know who would be great for the various panels on show but never invited up. The problem? 🚩 Not enough investment into their visibility and what their mission is. Being visible online is not only about increasing your income through the various possibilities, but it relates to your voice, impact and how you want to shape the world. Being visible earns you that stronger voice. Being visible means the changes you envision in the world gathers steam. Being visible means sharing your vision at conference panels, events, networking events, with organisations through advisory roles, board membership invitations... it goes on. If you're not visible - you simply can't be invited to the table. So how do you become visible? 💥 Content. But not any old content, it's not about you sitting on Youtube, TikTok or Instagram. I'm talking about a different type of platform. One that isn't about marketing only but rather about representing what you stand for. Peerr - a platform where the health and life sciences industry are sitting at one table. You need to build and share content specific to you, your mission and the impact you want to see. Peerr is the home for subject matter experts and thought leaders in the health and life sciences industry. I invite you all to join. If in 2024 you're looking to become visible let's have a chat or contact Abdul Rahyead / Matt Williams who are working on an exclusive offering. The first few people will be getting an exclusive package 😉

As ever, it sounds like Peerr continues to evolve! And yes, visibility makes a huge difference, but is not necessarily something which has been associated with the medical world, for a whole host of reasons.

Totally! As I tell my girls, you can do what everyone else does and then queue up for the opportunities when they're advertised: jobs, auditions etc. Or... you can do the work up front and find that you get invited in the back door or people start making doors for you and you find yourself in queue of 1.
