I do know that Google, Meta, Microsoft, and the rest of these profit-driven orgs are not going to choose responsibility over profits. This toothless accord is an attempt by the major developers of AI to skirt the responsibility of how some bad actors will use these tools. AI is exciting and terrifying. It’s the answer to old problems and the source of new ones. We need to develop and use it responsibly.
