🚢 From May 21st to 23rd, Breakbulk Europe 2024 took place in Rotterdam, home to the biggest European port, the Port of Rotterdam. As the leading event for the freight sector, Breakbulk Europe provided a unique platform for decision-makers and professionals of the industry to conduct business and establish new relationships. Over the course of three days, more than 11,000 attendees from over 126 countries gathered to participate in B2B conferences and workshops, explore the exhibition, and discuss the latest industry trends with their peers. 🇵🇹 This year's edition featured the presence of several Portuguese ports and companies participating under a national pavilion organized by the Portuguese Port Association - Associação dos Portos de Portugal, namely, APDL – Porto de Leixões and Viana do Castelo, Porto de AveiroPorto da Figueira da FozPorto de Lisboa , Porto de Setúbal, and Porto de Sines. Furthermore, LASO Transportes S.A., a Portuguese land freight transport company, was present with their own booth. On the second day, Rui Paulo Almas, Director of AICEP Benelux, and Mariana Carvalho from AICEP's office in the Netherlands visited the fair to identify and explore new opportunities for Portuguese businesses in the transport and logistics sector. Additionally, they took part in the Networking Event organized by the Portuguese Port Association, with support from aicep Portugal Global | The Netherlands, which was attended by the members of the very relevant delegation of Portuguese companies and entities and by a large number of international partners who were present at the fair.
