University of Michigan - NO #InclusiveCollege program 4. University of Virginia - NO #InclusiveCollege program 5. University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill - has a summer program 6. UC San Diego - NO #InclusiveCollege program TIE for #7. University of Florida - NO #InclusiveCollege program and University of Texas, Austin - has a three-semester program TIE for #9. Georgia Tech and UC Davis - BOTH have FOUR-YEAR with RESIDENTIAL LIVING #InclusiveCollege Programs‼️ Your #Education is BETTER when you are living and learning with peers who have #IntellectualDisabilities. The teaching gets better. The opportunities are better. The learning gets better. "Selective universities can use standardized tests if they want, but if they’re genuinely dedicated to being institutions of opportunity, they need to supplement those tests with other strategies intended to find, recruit and nurture talented students who risk being overlooked, discouraged or disqualified by too much reliance on the SAT/ACT. Fortunately, that strategy exists in the form of the National Education Equity Lab, a game-changing national program that enrolls high school students from low-income neighborhoods in credit-bearing college courses taught by faculty at several of the nation’s most highly regarded universities." https://lnkd.in/egwfwakV

Based on the search results, the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) system appears to be the top choice in Illinois for easy transfer to universities, particularly the University of Illinois system. Here's why: The CCC has a dedicated "Pathway to Illinois" program that facilitates transfers to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), one of the state's flagship universities. The University of Illinois System offers a Transfer Guarantee program for students from Illinois community colleges, ensuring admission to one of their campuses if requirements are met. CCC provides transfer guides to help students plan their coursework for successful transfers to various universities, including Northern Illinois University. UIUC, in particular, has familiarity with Illinois community colleges and offers tools like Transferology to help students match their community college courses with university equivalents. Many students have reported positive experiences transferring from community colleges to universities like UIC (University of Illinois Chicago), citing cost savings and good preparation. While individual experiences may vary, the City Colleges of Chicago system seems to offer the most structured and supported pathway for transferring to top Illinois universities, especially within the University of Illinois system.

The College of Science is Cal State East Bay’s fastest-growing college, with more than 5,500 students across all majors, reflecting a 50 percent enrollment increase since 2010. The College is an energized academic hub, bursting with motivated students studying across 11 departments. Each department is focused on providing foundational disciplinary knowledge and tangible skills that will allow students to have an immediate impact once they enter the workforce. According to Money Magazine’s 2018 rating, Cal State East Bay is 14th in the nation in advancing graduates’ social mobility. Our position in the region’s STEM workforce and our academic excellence plays a huge role in that. But we are increasingly finding that employers are recognizing the value of a Cal State East Bay degree, knowing that they can expect both hard skills and a certain kind of grit and determination from our graduates.
