High employee turnover is a progress killer in sports. High turnover means... ⚙ Ramping up new employees often. This takes time away from productive output as well as time from others trying to do their day job 🧠 Loss of key information. Both in cultivated knowledge and sometimes what is lost on a hard drive, in a text message, etc. 🤝 Loss of strong relationships. This really hurts interdepartmental progress. 🗺 Strategic decisions being executed by someone who didn't have the vision. 🔨 Strategic decisions are rebuilt from the ground up by a new leader. This takes time and effort, and has a lag until results are realized. 💢 Organizational tension via lack of stability. . . . This is my lived experience both on the team and tech side.
