I hear about this topic all the time, but is #Saudi really 'China-ready'? I don't think so, and I'll tell you why 👇 Yes, KSA's "China-ready" push has been full force, especially with developments like Chinese language education, #Mandarin signage, and better payment systems. But to truly capture the #ChineseMarket, much more attention needs to be placed on logistics, tourist experiences, and authentic Saudi culture... Chinese tourist itineraries currently focus on several locations—2 days in Jeddah, 2 in AlUla, 1 in Riyadh—but feel more like transit itineraries than immersive cultural experiences (just take a look at user itineraries on #LittleRedBook) Currently tourists also rely heavily on taxis or #Uber due to the lack of public transport infrastructure. To elevate the visitor experience, improved logistics are essential—Chinese travelers want seamless movement between attractions, not just region-hopping. Saudi has the potential to become a hub for #gastronomytourism, offering unique flavors and a rich culinary history, yet this remains largely untapped. So I'm wondering... Beyond the luxurious resorts and desert landscapes, what is that one iconic Saudi item tourists will take back home? What will be the signature Saudi dish or experience that Chinese tourists seek out..? EgyptAir announces 15% price reduction in preparation for Egypt International Airshow EGYPTAIR, the official carrier for the upcoming Egypt International Airshow, has launched an extensive advertising campaign to promote the exhibition, which is set to take place from September 3 to 5 in New Alamein City. As part of its efforts, EgyptAir is offering a 15 percent discount on flights for participants traveling from various international destinations. The company has also scheduled special flights to New Alamein Airport before, during, and after the exhibition, providing attendees with convenient options for both domestic and international travel. In addition to the discounted fares, EgyptAir has integrated the Egypt International Airshow's branding into its fleet and operations. The exhibition’s logo is prominently displayed on the exterior of select aircraft and on headrests inside the cabins. A promotional video highlighting the airshow is also being featured on aircraft screens during flights. These initiatives are designed to boost awareness and interest in the airshow, which is expected to draw significant international attention. The promotional campaign is not limited to in-flight experiences.
